Process of Obtaining an Australian Student Visa and Admission
International students aspiring to study in Australia must first secure admission to an institution before applying for a student visa. The steps involved in this process are as follows:
- Selecting a Preferred Course and Institution
- Submitting an Application to the Institution
- Receiving and Accepting an Offer Letter
- Obtaining Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE)
- Applying for a Student Visa (Subclass 500) or a Student Guardian Visa (Subclass 590)
Admission and Visa Process
Our team provides support for students aiming to study in Australia, ensuring they meet the entry requirements.
Once a student registers and submits all essential documents, except for the English Test score, we apply for a Conditional Offer Letter from the education provider. If the student already has an English Test score, we directly apply for the Unconditional Offer Letter.
The assessment process typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the education provider. Any outstanding documents will be requested if necessary.
After receiving the offer letter, the applicant must submit the required documents for the Streamlined Visa Process (SVP) and provide financial documents to demonstrate sufficient funds. The first semester fees, or in some cases, the full fee for one year, must be paid to the education provider.
Upon completion of the SVP process, the education provider issues the Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE), which is essential for visa processing.
The student visa application is then submitted to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Australia. It is highly recommended to lodge the visa application at least 12 weeks before the institution’s orientation day.
Once the visa is approved, the student can prepare to travel to Australia.
